Mum died in Basildon Hospital from a Stroke, it came as a great shock, we were called in the night
to say our goodbyes as they thought that she was going to pass away, but by some miracle the next
day she got better and was looking forward to coming home. However a few days later she died in her
sleep before she was discharged from Hospital.

Our Mum was a loving Mum who worked at Ilfords in Basildon for many years, a Mum to 6 children -
Pauline, Terry, Pat, Pam, Stephen and Kim, Nan to many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and was
proud of us all.

Mum was originally from Clapham in London she was a kind and wonderful person. Liked a Guinness (or
two) and a large Port (just to sweeten the Guinness. Apparently the Dr told her to have a Guinness
a day about 10 years ago ! when she had carbon monoxide poisoning and she had one every day ever
since - Dr's orders apparently.

Married to Jock our loving Dad who passed away from lung cancer on Boxing Day 1985 she never really
got over his death, they were devoted to each other.

We love you and we hope that both you and Dad are together and watching over us all, God Bless you
